How do you add a drop down list?

Hey all,

Confused about VM 2.0. On Virtuemart 1.1.7 you can click on a product go to Product Status and then add a new Attribute which is a drop down list, I use it on everyone of my products. However, I can't figure out how to do this in VM 2.0 and does VM 2.0 come with any other Attribute options???
